Need inspiration for what to read next? Or maybe it’s your turn to choose a book for your book club? Fear not! We’ve rounded up some books that we think could be the next hit for you and your book club.

Bertram and his friends have formed a small gang of thieves called The Ravens. He lives with his mom, and doesn´t remember his father much, as he was arrested for murder and sentenced to life imprisonment when Bertram was a kid. One day, Bertram steals an expensive leather which has fatal consequences. 

Ronaldo Benito, an investigator at the Police Complaints Authority witnesses a prison guard jumping out of his window on the fourth floor. Ronaldo hears a rumour that a prisoner has died in the prison the man worked in, and that the prison guard had felt threatened and persecuted. 
 
Is it in fact not a suicide case at all? Journalist Anne Larsen is on the case, she teams up with Ronaldo when more mysterious deaths pile up, and a Supreme Court judge vanishes. They are in search of a connection, that link turns out to be Bertram and the theft of the jacket, and now Anne’s head in on the line as well. 

As part of her recovery from a devastating car accident, Grace embarks on a surprise cruise booked by her husband, Cameron. The accident still haunts her and she is a little anxious to be leaving her family. But she’s excited to fulfil a life-long dream – cruising around the Mediterranean with some friends – even if her husband’s secretary, Chantelle is tagging along for the trip.  Maybe this is a chance to start a fresh with this woman. But Chantelle appears to be everywhere Grace turns, and her instincts can’t all be wrong.

Christopher Morley tells the story of a group of eight Oxford undergrads who call themselves “The Scorpions.” One day, they find a letter that a certain Kathleen wrote to Joe, and they build an idea of who she might be in their head, and are so intrigued, that they decide to go looking for her.

In a sleepy seaside town outside Copenhagen, a strange light at the bottom of the harbour has the police call in a military diver. Deep down in the dark water sits a car, with the dead body of a young woman in the driver’s seat. The dead woman seems to have been the victim of a sadistic surgery. 
 
On some jagged cliffs in the south of Norway, a dog walker finds a part of a corpse wearing a wetsuit. In their search for the identity of the victim, local police send out a black notice through Interpol, and before long another girl in a similar wetsuit is found dead all the way down in the Netherlands. 
 
But when a woman bearing a scar similar to the others is found lifeless and icy cold in a forest lake, she could be the most important witness for the police — if only they are able to bring her back from the dead.
